My Journey

My Journey

On a dare, I registered for National Novel Writing Month, aka NaNoWriMo, an annual 30-day challenge held in November to write a 50,000-word novel.

Who knew that's what it took to get me to write? After years of procrastination and writer's block, words appeared on the page. At the end of the month, I had my very first novel. After months of painful editing, my debut novel, The Ancestors' Key, was published in March 2020.

But the story wasn't finished! I registered for Camp NaNoWriMo, a less structured event held twice per year, once in April and once in July. While I was writing my sequel, I was also working on the audiobook of the first book. The sequel, The Academy, was published in June 2020.

July saw me writing the third book in what was now called The Evers Series, it was published in August 2020. Book four, and the conclusion of the series, was the focus of my NaNoWriMo project this November. It came out in December 2020.

All the audiobooks for The Evers Series are now available on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes.

In 2021, I wrote a stand-alone book called Clarity Castle. I'm currently working on a new series within the same Traveler universe as The Evers Series as well as a Short Story Compilation.
